Events

South Louisiana abounds with festivals of all sorts. Food and music are the predominant themes. Almost every southern town boasts of it's own unique celebration. To name a few, the Frog Festival in Rayne, La., the Catfish Festival in Des Alemands, La., the Crawfish Festival in Breaux Bridge, and the Shrimp Festival in Morgan City.

There are also traditional family and group gatherings that qualify as events. Crawfish boils, tailgating, the "couchon de lait" and, barbecues are the common family gatherings. If you're lucky enough to have some musician friends the party can get really good!
