Sweet
Potato Bread, a delicious addition to the Holiday Meal.
This
recipe is doubled:
7 to
8 sweet potatoes
1-can
condensed milk
1 - 1 1/2-tsp. vanilla extract
2 boxes of yellow cake mix
Peel
and cut sweet potatoes. Put to boil. When soft drain and smash.
Add condensed milk and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Follow
directions on cake boxes and prepare the batter. Mix batter and
potatoes together.
Butter
and flour any cake pan, round or square. The larger the pan the
thinner the bread. For thicker bread use two or three smaller pans. Fill
3/4ths to an inch in each pan. Bake according to directions on the cake
box.
