OXO Oyster Knife
I was out of town, in possession of unshucked oysters, and had no
oyster knife. One of my daughters went to Bed Bath and Beyond and
found this OXO oyster knife. What struck me was that the blade was
thin, pointed and curved just like the old knife my father made for
me.
See here...
I really was surprised that the instructions said to use is as a
prying knife. With the blade so thin I knew for sure I would snap
it. Low and behold it performed just as the instructions said it
would and it cut the knots perfectly. I did have to fight with it
some on the really large oysters but over all it worked just fine.
Here are a few pictures.
